Eighteen Visions is an American metalcore band hailing from Orange County, California. They were formed in October 1995 and have experienced several phases of activity. Here’s a brief overview:
Beginnings and Early Years (1995–2000):
The band was founded by James Hart, Dave Peters, Billy Sisler, and Kenneth Floyd under the name “Macabre.”
Their debut release, Lifeless, came out in 1997.
In 1999, they released their first full-length album, Yesterday Is Time Killed.
During this period, they transitioned to the name “Eighteen Visions.”
Major Label Debut and Breakup (2000–2007):
In 2000, they signed with Trustkill Records and gained attention.
Their major label debut was released through Epic and Trustkill Records.
Unfortunately, the band broke up in April 2007.
Reunion and Recent Activity (2017–present):
After over a decade of absence, Eighteen Visions reformed in 2017.
They announced their sixth album, XVIII, which was released via Rise Records.
The band’s sound blends metalcore, alternative rock, post-hardcore, and hardcore punk.
