About Rob Roskopp - Pro Skateboarder Profile, Biography and History

Rob Roskopp was born in 1963, and hails from Detroit, Michigan. He embarked on his skateboarding journey at a young age, quickly rising to prominence as a professional skateboarder.

Rob’s promenance really took off when his deck sponsor, Santa Cruz Skateboards released his pro-model: The Roskopp "Face" Deck. This iconic skateboard deck became one of the most recognizable and sought-after designs of the 1980s. The Roskopp Face Deck featured bold graphics and vibrant colorways, capturing the spirit of skate art during the mid to late 80s.

In 1993, Rob Roskopp, along with Rich Novak and Mike Marquez, co-founded Santa Cruz Bicycles.

His ties to skateboarding remain strong to this day, as he continues to receive royalties from skateboards sold by Santa Cruz Skateboards.
