Guy Mariano: Girl Skateboards "Mouse" Skateboard Video Section

"Guy's legendary bag of tricks is on full display in this one-man tech onslaught. Wieger introduces a classic from the 1996 Girl video."

"This part put switch on the map big-time. Unbelievable for 1996 and still impressive today."

"Most of these tricks are still crazy to this day. Way ahead of his time!"

"This is probably the the most feel-good video ever. Long, apparently effortless lines in the California sun to great jazz and funk, and no gut wrenching slam sections to ruin the vibe."

"When I first watched Mouse back in the 90s, I thought he was goofy until the very, very end of the video. He switches stances back to regular after doing the switch pop shove it to switch crooks down the handrail amidst the credits. And that was a mind blowing realization. "Wait, he was doing all of that shit SWITCH?!""

Guy Mariano: Lakai "Fully Flared" Skateboard Video Part

"Every part in this video fortifies the argument that this could be the greatest skate video ever made. From production to soundtrack, top to bottom. I was born in '96 and haven't skated hard since I was 22. I come back to these parts from time to time to watch my heroes because it makes me happy inside. Skaters don't quit. That attitude has helped me in so many ways as I've gotten older. I guess the gift is in the resolve."

"What can I say about Guy Mariano, He is a genius, very talented, one of the pioneer who invented the technical tricks and he still does it, truly a legend, my favorite skateboarder of all time."

"This Video will always be in my memories. one can really learn from a Person who had everything than lost it , and finally got it back. Cheers to you Guy"

Guy Mariano: Girl/Chocolate Skateboards "Pretty Sweet" Skateboard Video Part

"I wish I could experience this part for the first time again, Pretty Sweet as a whole was such a pivotal point in my life"

"SO INSPIRATIONAL!!! Especially knowing his story, this part showed so much sincerity, it’s as if he skated out everything he’d been through. RESPECT. For anyone struggling, let this guys story teach you, you can do it if you want it"

"Mariano's biggest win is not even his amazing & incredible skateboarding career he had, (and still has), but the terrible battle against drugs that almost killed him. Can you imagine the lost in the skateboard world that would has been. Mariano changed the face of skateboarding, many years ago. And still does it many years after at the age of 40. Only a few like him are in that league. Mad respect to Guy, a true skateboarder to the heart."
