Mad Circle was founded in 1993 by Pro Skater Justin Girard, who had previously been associated with another skate company. The original team included Justin Girard, Chris Fissell, and Mike Cao.

Mad Circle blended technical mastery with artistic expression, creating a skateboard brand that stood out from the crowd. Their skate videos, like the legendary “Let the Horns Blow,” showcased the Mad Circle team’s skills in a way that expressed the limitless possibilities of skateboarding.

Mad Circle’s team featured talented skaters such as Bobby Puleo, Karl Watson, Pontus Alv, Rob Welsh, and Scott Johnston. These riders left a lasting impact on the 90s street skating scene with their stylish and selective approach to tricks and spots.

Although Mad Circle is no longer active, its legacy lives on. Many of the skaters associated with the brand have continued to be involved in skateboarding, working with or owning various companies, including Supreme, Adidas, Polar, and Maxallure.

Mad Circle contributed to the vibrant skateboarding culture of the 90s, with their distinct aesthetic influenced everything from baggy pants to oversized t-shirts and skate shoes, epitomizing the cool skate vibe of the 90s era.
