Armor for Sleep is an American rock band from New Jersey, which released their first two albums on the independent label Equal Vision Records: Dream to Make Believe in 2003 and What to Do When You Are Dead in 2005.

Their music often explored introspective themes and emotions.

Members of Armor For Sleep: Ben Jorgensen, PJ DeCicco, Anthony DiIonno, Nash Breen.

In 2006, the band signed with Warner Bros. and Sire Records.
Their last album, Smile for Them, was released in 2007 before a hiatus1.

After disbanding in 2009, Armor for Sleep briefly reunited for tours in 2012 and 2015.

They officially reunited in 2020 and released a new album titled The Rain Museum in September 20221.

Known for their atmospheric sound, the band blended alternative rock, emo, and dream pop elements.

Tracks like “Remember to Feel Real” and “The Truth About Heaven” showcase their emotive and introspective approach.

On July 18, 2024 the Armor For Sleep released a new single, "In Another Dream"
