Nyjah Imani Huston was born on November 30, 1994, in Davis, California, and is an American professional skateboarder.

Nyjah’s started skateboarding at five, thanks to his father, Adeyemi, who was also a skateboarder. Adeyemi’s insistence led Nyjah to practice relentlessly, and by age seven, he had already secured his first sponsorship deal. His parents’ commitment to his skateboarding dreams was evident when they purchased an indoor skate park in Woodland, where Nyjah honed his skills.

Nyjah is renowned for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on a skateboard. His technical prowess and fearless approach have given birth to iconic tricks.
The “Kickflip Backside Lipslide” and the “Switch Backside 270 Kickflip” are just a glimpse of his mind-bending maneuvers.

Nyjah has been associated with several major brands throughout his career. Notably, he rides for Element Skateboards, Nike SB, and Monster Energy. He is one of the highest-paid skateboarders globally.

Nyjah’s competitive track record is nothing short of awe-inspiring.

Street League Skateboarding (SLS): He clinched gold medals at the SLS Super Crown World Championship from 2014 to 2019.
X Games: Nyjah has won an impressive 15 gold medals at the X Games since 2011, solidifying his status as a skateboarding legend.
2024 Olympics: In the 2024 Olympic men’s street event in Paris, France, Nyjah secured a bronze medal, marking his Olympic debut.
